What is Fornite -
Fortnite is an online video game developed by Epic Games and released in 2017. It is available in three distinct game mode versions that otherwise share the same general gameplay and game engine: Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative shooter-survival game for up to four players to fight off zombie-like creatures and defend objects with fortifications they can build; Fortnite Battle Royale, a free-to-play battle royale game where up to 100 players fight to be the last person standing; and Fortnite Creative, where players are given complete freedom to create worlds and battle arenas. Save the World and Battle Royale were released in 2017 as early access titles, while Creative was released on December 6, 2018. Save the World is available only for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while Battle Royale and Creative released for all those platforms, and also for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.

While the Save the World and Creative versions have been successful for Epic Games, Fortnite Battle Royale in particular became a resounding success – drawing in more than 125 million players in less than a year, earning hundreds of millions of dollars per month, and becoming a cultural phenomenon.

In this comparison blog, we found this paragraph from Fobes by Erik Kain

PUBG creates tension in a way that I just never feel playing Fortnite. Partly that's just an aesthetic thing. PUBG is a realistic military shooter at its core, whereas Fortnite is a cartoony, almost comical game. Indeed, Fortnite's building mechanics, however cool they can be in practice, make the game feel even more cartoonish and unrealistic. Matches that essentially boil down to who can build the better sky palace are a little silly as far as I'm concerned.

Popular questions -

Which is more famous fortnite or PUBG?
Both PUBG and Fortnite are battle royale games. But Fortnite attracted more gamers than PUBG. Though Fortnite was released after PUBG, it has gained popularity faster. The important reason for Fortnite to become the popular game is its ability to build structures and it involves various game modes.

What is the difference between PUBG and fortnite?
While PUBG takes a more realistic approach to things, Fortnite's Battle Royale mode features shooting mechanics very similar to the base Fortnite mechanics. This means you'll get a much more arcade-like experience in Fortnite, whereas PUBG will require more precise timing, leading, and aiming from its players.

The popular battle Royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG, now has just as many players as Fortnite at over 200 million users. According to The Verge, PUBG for Mobile now has 200 million users and about 30 million active daily users.
